TEN2 / General

DC-Yachts and the wider international team successfully launched and developed 1st Generation TEN full crew One Design.
In time, new insights sparked updates and improvements. To serve the growing offshore double handed sailors, an upgrade pack was introduced.

After more than a decade, the 1st generation TEN is updated. The 2nd generation TEN² is improved with the latest performance, safety and double handed insights, and optimized to the latest IRC and ORC rules.
Besides performance, also the exterior and interior of ten² are future proof and ready for the next decade.

TEN2 is a sporty offshore racing boat, specially designed for doublehanded racing. All composite parts are vacuum injected with epoxy. The result is a strong and stiff boat and extremely suitable for racing. The boat has a keelstepped carbon mast, a carbon boom and a fixed carbon gennakerboom. To sail the boat doublehanded or singlehanded the TEN2 has waterballasttanks which can be filled and be emptied electrically. The TEN2 has a two-cylinder inboard saildrive of 12HP.

TEN2 / Interior

The Interior is desgned for dualhanded offshore racing. A sleeping place and a comfortable seat on the luffside of the boat, a small place to cook, and a place to navigate. All the heavy parts are located around the keel.
