September 2005: Falcon
September 16th, the outside hull of the Falcon 44 is vacuum injected. This project is escorted by “Polyworx” and “Stichting Maritiem Kenniscentrum”. The amateur builder built and shaped the corecell hull and laid the glassfibre according the laminate scheme and the professionals has vacuum inject the outside hull in one day.
September 2005: Beluga
Last week the Beluga 46 returned from her trip to Spitsbergen. The outward voyage was non-stop in eleven days and the return voyage was along the Norwegian coast. June 2005
Shipyard Klaas Bood in Nijkerk has closed her doors after more as twenty years. Because a lack of assignments, bankruptcy seems to be unavoidable. The Beluga 40 is transported to Schaap Ship Care in Lelystad, where the building of the Beluga 40 will be finished.
July 2005: Icon
The preliminary design of the Icon 48 is finished. This 48ft composite sailing yacht with a teak deck and cockpit is primary designed for sailing, but will have a comfortable interior for four people as well.
June 2005: G-force
In Delfzijl, the first building frames of the G-force are set up and the deckmould is for 80% ready.
June 2005: Beluga
The Beluga 46 has sailed several journeys, last month, at the North Sea and the IJsselmeer. The special keelconfiguration operates well and the sailing performances are as good as expected. The coming months, the yacht and it’s crew will prepare itself for a journey to Spitsbergen.
May 2005: G-Force
On account of the 25th anniversary of her kingship, Queen Beatrix visited Delfzijl the 12th of May. The G-Force project was one of the subjects of this day. The Queen spoke with the builders and was interested in the project.
